Picture this: you have your holiday shopping list ready, you’re are about to purchase that gift for your husband but — oh wait, you live with him.
As much as we revere and honor our package delivery people (who seriously deserve the Purple Heart), you can’t have certain packages shipped to your home for all of your household to see.
Not to mention, many brands have their logo etched in large font across the cardboard, which would instantly give your amazing gift idea away.
So, before you go en route to the supermarket or to get your nails done, you may want to consider shopping online with one of these retailers who offer a ‘buy now, pick up in store’ option. Better yet, some even offer curbside pickup.
So, it’s time to double-park with your hazard lights and open your trunk — this list is 100% guaranteed to make your holiday shopping easier.
Best Buy not only has extraordinary Cyber Monday deals up its sleeve, but it also offers Fast Store Pickup that’s available at most locations. After confirming ‘Curbside Pickup’ as an option, Best Buy will then send you a confirmation email that will detail where to park and how to alert a Best Buy employee that you’ve arrived at the store.
What’s more, this ‘Curbside Pickup’ has the option to be contactless for most items.
You didn’t think the luxury department store offered ‘Buy Online, Pick Up in Store‘ — but Bloomingdale’s is out to make your shopping lives easier. Upon placing an order online, it’ll be waiting for you at a designated counter at your nearest Bloomingdale’s location. Typically, it’ll be ready within two hours of placing your order (how great is that)?
What’s more, Bloomingdale’s also offers Curbside Pickup, where you can feel free to drive on up to the store and a store member will bring your order to you, 100% contactless if so desired.
As a retailer with some of the best deals we’ve seen, JCPenney is making your holiday shopping event more convenient with its Same Day In-Store Pickup option.
As long as your place your JCP order two hours before the store closes, you’ll receive it that same day. Orders are typically ready within two hours, and you’ll receive an email when your order is ready. If you can’t make it to your local JCP store that same day, the retailer will hold it for you at the store for up to 10 days.
JCPenney also offers Curbside Pickup where all you have to do is park, check in with the JCP app or JCP.com and then drive off. It’s that simple.
Kohl’s encourages all of its shoppers: ‘find your yes,’ and now, you can say ‘yes’ to Buy Online Pick Up in Store (in addition to some of the best deals available now).
Simple and to the point, the retailer offers fast and free store pickup that usually has your order all set and ready to go within two hours if you place an order before 6 p.m. local time. Orders placed after 4 p.m. local time on Wednesday, Nov. 23 will be processed Friday due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
One of America’s favorite major retailers, yes, has a Pick It Up Your Way option, featuring two safe and simple options to receive your online order: in store or curbside.
After adding your items to your bag, choose the Pick Up option at checkout. Then, keep an eye on your inbox to receive an email as soon as it’s ready. If you opt for in-store pickup, just remember to show your barcode, and if you choose curbside, use the ‘curbside pickup’ button in your email to alert Macy’s you’re here.
Nordstrom features Pickup in Store & Delivery Options to make your holiday shopping as convenient as ever. After checking out with some of the best Nordstrom Extended Black Friday deals we listed, simply choose ‘curbside’ at Nordstrom stores — including Nordstrom Rack — and select if you’d like to pick up your items that same day or the following day.
Even better, Nordstrom offers free standard shipping all the time if you don’t want to make a special trip to pick up your order.
Ah, who doesn’t like going to Target? Wheeling the red carts, grabbing a Starbucks drink…
With Target Drive Up, you can order within the Target app and Target will bring out your order for free. How it works? Simply choose your store’s location from the app, select the Drive Up feature and then alert Target you’re on your way and what kind of vehicle you’re in. Not to mention, the service is 100% contactless.

Save money and live better with Walmart — but also shop better with the major retailer’s Pickup and Delivery option. Once you place an order online, you can choose a time-slot and an in-store associate will gather your items for you.
Walmart will send you an email once your order is ready and you can check in on the Walmart app, or call the store directly. You may want to use this option when you’re out and about, or when shopping for the best Walmart Cyber Monday deals.
