Elmsford’s Bed Bath & Beyond at 251 E. Main St. will be closing as will all of the Harmon stores, the company said.
“As we continue to work with our advisors to consider multiple paths, we are implementing actions to manage our business as efficiently as possible,” the company’s statement said. “As such, Bed Bath & Beyond has decided to close the Elmsford, NY, location in the coming months.”
Bed Bath & Beyond store closing sales will occur over the next few weeks and months.
The company said the decision to close a store is difficult, but “local customers can find their favorite products at our nearby location in Yonkers as well as online at bedbathandbeyond.com and our mobile app, where they can take advantage of digital services such as Same Day Delivery, curbside and in-store pickup, and free ship-to-home for purchases $39 or more.”
Meanwhile, all Harmon stores, which are also owned by Bed Beth and Beyond Inc., will close around the country. There are Harmon stores in places such as Hartsdale, Nanuet, New Rochelle, Poughkeepsie, and Yonkers.
